Able seaman (seasonal)

We are seeking a seasonal able seaman to work onboard Scillonian III for a temporary period between late February to early November working out of Penzance on a 2 week on/off rotation.

Duties:

• Perform vessel mooring, gangway and cargo operations
• Assist passengers when boarding and disembarking vessels
• Maintenance including rope work, painting, greasing and cleaning of accommodation, deck, hold and machinery spaces as directed
• Watch keeping duties, including become proficient as a helmsman

Requirements:

• Minimum requirement: Navigational Watch Rating certificate, EDH and PSCRB
• Designated Security Duties
• Mandatory STCW certificates
• ENG1 medical certificate.
• Must hold Right to Work in the UK

Strong candidates not holding all the above mandatory certificates may still be considered.
