Job description

A vacancy for a Passenger Handling Assistant, based at St Mary’s Airport.

Job Responsibilities

  • Check-in and aircraft dispatch
  • Completing load sheets
  • Assisting passengers during times of disruption
  • Dealing with customer enquiries
  • Providing excellent customer service

Qualifications and requirements

  • Previous Airline or Airport customer service experience is preferred.
  • A good general education, excellent communication, good communication skills, customer service and computer skills.
  • You should be flexible towards working hours.
  • Passenger handling, customer service and systems training will be provided.

Hours 

  • This is a permanent position, 40 hours per week.
  • Working days are Monday to Saturday, normally 4 x 10½ hour shifts with a daily break of 30 minutes.
  • Rostered shifts to meet the airline’s requirements.
