Job description
Isles of Scilly Skybus are looking for a Technical Records Administrative Assistant to join the Continuing Airworthiness team, whose role plays a vital part in the airline’s operation. Reporting to the Continuing Airworthiness Manager, this position ensures the smooth and efficient running of administrative processes related to aircraft maintenance, compliance, and engineering projects. The role requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with team members both within, and externally to the department.
Main Responsibilities
- Documentation Management.
- Scheduling and Coordination of maintenance.
- Compliance Support.
- Technical Manual review and control.
- Reporting and Data Entry.
- Department time and attendance administration.
- General Administrative Support.
Required skills and Qualifications
- Experience: Previous administrative experience, ideally in an aviation, engineering, or technical environment.
- Technical Proficiency: Competency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with maintenance management systems would be an advantage.
- Organisation: Excellent time management and organisational abilities.
- Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in numeracy, handling of technical documents and records.
- Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Teamwork: Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
Location and Conditions
The role is based at Skybus’ engineering facilities at Land’s End Airport, working a 40-hour week, Monday to Friday. Occasional travel between sites may be necessary and therefore a full UK driving licence is necessary. Applicants must have the right to live and work in the UK.
