Cornish companies chosen

We are proud to be working with two leading Cornish companies, Armada Engineering Ltd and Wills Ridley Ltd, to supply hydraulic and steering systems for our new vessels, Scillonian IV and Menawethan.

Armada Engineering will design and build cutting-edge hydraulic power units in Falmouth before installation in Vietnam. These systems will power essential functions, including windlass, gangway davits, and cargo operations.

Wills Ridley will manufacture state-of-the-art hydraulic steering gear and electrical controls in Penryn, ensuring advanced maneuverability and safety.

Both companies bring decades of expertise and a deep-rooted partnership with ISSG, reinforcing the commitment to high-performance, resilient maritime solutions for the Isles of Scilly.
