New vessels
Project timeline
In 2019, we commenced our new vessels replacement project.
Over the last 5 years we have worked with the community, stakeholders, project partners, naval architects and shipbuilders, to refine designs. Follow our progress as we build our two new vessels, which will be brought into service in 2026.

The tunnel thrusters and motors are already located within the bow section of the vessel, with fabrication of the thruster tunnels is underway.
